In the Fall of 2024 we will be launching our inaugural high school program in New Hampshire where we will begin our outreach, education and scholarship programs. Please see About Us for information on our projects and check back here for more details as we begin our work with the school.
These seniors have been taking college courses at Northern Essex Community College as part of Northern Essex’s Early College partnership program, where students take high school and college courses during their school year at no cost. Some students have taken up to 8 college courses since their Junior year and have earned college credit as a head start in their pursuit to attend college in the Fall of 2023.
On May 25, 2023, the Massachusetts Hispanic Scholarship Fund (MAHSF) was proud to award a $4,000 and $2,000 scholarship to our outstanding inaugural scholars at the Lawrence High School Alumni Association Scholarship Banquet. The two Lawrence High School (LHS) students will be moving on to college in the Fall
Ashely was our 2022-2023 MAHSF 4-year college scholar receiving a $4,000 award. Ashely will attend UMass Lowell in the Fall of 2023 and major in Nursing.
Yuberky was our 2022-2023 MAHSF 2-year college scholar receiving a $2,000 award. Yuberky will attend Northern Essex Community College for one year in the Fall of 2023 and matriculate to UMass Lowell in the Fall of 2024 and major in Nursing.
