The New Hampshire Hispanic Scholarship Fund (NHHSF) proudly awarded $6,000 to two deserving students for the 2025–2026 academic year at the Nashua High School North Awards Night on June 2, 2026.
The NHHSF Scholars overcame many challenges in their life yet still put forward excellent academic achievement, demonstrated hard work as well as sports, club and community involvement. Our $4,000 scholar is a dedicated volunteer, tutor, and first-generation student, heading to UMass Lowell this fall to major in Electrical Engineering. Balancing academics with extracurriculars like track, soccer, and a weekend job, he hopes to use his degree to expand internet and technology access for lower-income and Hispanic families.
Our $2,000 scholar is a first-generation student and National Honor Society member. This outstanding Nashua North graduate is heading to Nashua Community College to major in Business. Balancing 20 to 30 hours a week in fast food with roles as a student mentor and Unified Basketball team manager, she aims to use her degree to connect cultures and build opportunities for families starting over.
NHHSF remains deeply committed to supporting these exceptional scholars as they advance their higher education journeys. Looking ahead, the organization plans to strengthen its ongoing partnerships with Nashua High School North throughout the 2026–2027 academic year.
